U.S.-based Chinese fashion e-commerce website Moonbasa.com is preparing a new channel for U.S. manufacturers to sell to Chinese consumers.
Moonbasa will officially launch its US Brand Mall by the end of August 2015.
The US fashion Mall enables American brands to create custom online stores supported by Moonbasa's turnkey platform that includes image uploading, translation, logistics, customer service and performance marketing.
Moonbasa has not provided specifics of how or if they will then provide logistical and customs import support to those American companies who will then ship goods to Chinese consumers. Much larger rivals like JD.com and Alibaba already provide sourcing and logistical support to global manufacturers hoping to gain footholds with Chinese consumers.
