OriginClear Delivers Clean Water Technology To Chinese Customers

U.S.-based clean water technology firm OriginClear Inc. has entered the Chinese commercial market with the first commercial customer in Hong Kong and an order for a research system from Nanjing University.

Both systems sold in China employ OriginClear's Electro Water Separation process, a primarily non-chemical system that efficiently removes micro-algae, oils, suspended solids, pathogens, and other contaminants, from fresh or saline water.

Hong Kong-based hydroponics grower Geb Impact Technology Co. Ltd. reportedly recently installed an EWS Model A25 to harvest micro-algae.

Nanjing University’s Department of Environmental Engineering ordered a lab-scale EWS unit for research into treatment of oil wastewater and metal cutting fluid wastewater.

Financial terms of the deals and transactions were not released by the company.
