U.S.-based Babcock & Wilcox has completed a new boiler auxiliary equipment manufacturing facility for Diamond Power International Inc. in Hubei.
DPII established Diamond Power Machine (Hubei) Company Inc. in 1987 as one of the first joint venture companies in China. DPMH, a wholly owned foreign enterprise, will own and operate the facility.
DPMH's new Hubei manufacturing operation consolidates two properties with numerous buildings into a single facility in a nearby industrial park. The new, state-of-the-art facility created by B&W will incorporate new management techniques to improve operating efficiencies, while meeting international quality standards.
