China's Yingli Green Energy Gets Further PV Orders From Germany

Baoding-based Yingli Green Energy Holding Company, a vertically integrated photovoltaic product manufacturer, has followed up its recent PV order from Germany with an order for a further 130 MW of PV modules.

IBC Solar AG, a specialist in PV systems based in Bad Staffelstein, Germany, has ordered 130 MW of PV modules from Yingli Green for delivery through 2010.

Liansheng Miao, the chairman and chief executive officer of Yingli Green Energy, stated that this cooperation with IBC Solar, which is one of the world's largest suppliers of ready-to-use PV systems, would further enhance Yingli's representation in major solar markets worldwide. He added that the agreement with IBC Solar also provides additional visibility into Yingli Green Energy's expected sales for 2010.

Udo Mohrstedt, the chief executive officer of IBC Solar, commented that his company was very confident that their cooperation with Yingli Green Energy would continue to grow to new levels.
