Chinese Tech Firm Acquires U.S.-based Nouveon

Chinese technology company HiSoft Technology International Limited has announced that it has acquired 100% of the equity interest in Nouveon Technology Partners, a provider of value-driven IT and process consulting services in the United States.

Under the agreement between the two parties, HiSoft will reportedly first pay USD5.5 million in cash and the company may pay an additional consideration based on Nouveon's financial performance over the next two years. HiSoft said that Nouveon's expertise and HiSoft's global offshore delivery capabilities will create powerful value for customers.

HiSoft plans to use the company's cash to fund the acquisition. After the completion of the transaction, T.J. Eberle, president of Nouveon, and current key members of Nouveon's management team will remain with the company. HiSoft expects the transaction to improve its profit from 2012.

Founded by Eberle and an industry consulting team in 2003, Nouveon is an employee-owned management consulting firm that specializes in delivering high-value solutions to mid-market and Fortune 1,000 companies. Nouveon provides result-oriented services to customers around America and it has expertise in the financial service and energy industries.
