Online Payment Security Website Launched In China

An online transaction security information website, 365anfang.com, has been formally launched in China.

The platform was jointly launched by China's Ministry of Public Security, Liaoning Provincial Public Security Department, Taobao.com and Alipay.com, and is expected to play an important role in regulating online transaction behavior and preventing online fraud on Internet payment services.

Liu Shibin, an official from the Ministry of Public Security, told local media that the partners hope that 365anfang.com will better meet consumers' demands for online safety and protect their interests through the cooperation with Taobao.com and Alipay.com.

Shao Xiaofeng, president of Alipay.com, stated that the launch of 365anfang.com will provide a new channel for users to learn about how to safely transact deals online. Shao called on more companies and social forces to join in this initiative and undertake more corporate social responsibilities.

Taobao and Alipay are both subsidiaries of Chinese business-to-business online company Alibaba.
