Achievo Corporation, a software outsourcing and information technology services provider, has opened a new research and development center in Wuxi, China.

According to chairman and CEO Jim Owen, Caterpillar plans to add to its China-based research and development operations to increase the technical support for its products in China and the rest of the Asia Pacific Region.

Oil country tubular goods manufacturer WSP Holdings Limited has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Wuxi Seamless Oil Pipes Company, Limited ("WSP China"), has received orders for 8,217 tonnes of API products, and 2,246 tonnes of non-API products from the USA and Thailand.

According to FedEx Express, the company has reduced the shipment fees of its China domestic services from June 2008.
