Taobao.com, the Internet shopping subsidiary of the Chinese B2B e-commerce group Alibaba, has announced that it has started to deploy offline authorized stores to provide convenience to consumers who do not wish to shop online.

Chinese online auction website Taobao.com is calling on its 130 million users to join a campaign to fight against online credit speculation.

China-based webshops will be able to sell goods on eBay directly to export customers using services provided by MyStarU.com subsidiary, Panyu M&M Import Export Company.

Taobao.com has confirmed that its vice president Huang Ruo, who was in charge of the B2C business of the company, will resign at the end of September 2008.
