Kyocera Corporation has announced the construction of a new solar module manufacturing plant in Tianjin to expand the production capacity of Kyocera Tianjin Solar Energy Company.

Spire Corporation, a global solar company providing turnkey solar factories and capital equipment to manufacture photovoltaic modules worldwide, has announced that it has entered into a multi-year, multi-system contract to provide key module line equipment to Trina Solar Limited in China.

JA Solar has signed a new wafer supply agreement with ReneSola for ReneSola to supply an additional 600MW of wafers to JA Solar from 2008 to 2013.
