Executives from the Chinese Internet search engine Baidu talked over the past weekend with striking workers who protested against the company's salary cuts and its new sales commission policies.

According to Baidu, its first batch of 10,000 contracted customers of its e-commerce platform were able to enjoy the C2C services from 8pm, September 25, 2008, marking the opening of Baidu's C2C platform after one year's preparation.

Chinese Internet search engine Baidu.com has announced expansion of its agreement with the China Patent Information Center of the State Intellectual Property Office to supply authoritative and professional patent searching services for netizens, starting on January 1, 2008.
