Hon Hai Gains General Acting Rights For Apple On Chinese Mainland

China Protects Apple's IPR

Shenyang Municipal Intermediate People's Court has announced its decision on a trademark infringement lawsuit between the U.S.-based Apple and the Shenzhen-based New Apple Concept Digital Technology Co., Ltd., which orders the Shenzhen-based electronics company to pay CNY400,000 compensation to Apple for trademark and logo infringements.

Alipay Will Support Firefox Browser

Zhejiang Alipay Internet Technology, the online payment subsidiary of e-commerce behemoth Alibaba Group, has announced that its payment website will support Mozilla's Firefox browser, making Alipay one of the first Chinese online payment platforms to fully support non-Microsoft browsers.

Foxconn Donates RMB60 Million To Sichuan

Zhang Zhengkui, special consultant to Terry Kuo, president of Taiwan based Foxconn, has donated RMB60 million to Sichuan earthquake victims on behalf of Terry Kuo, Foxconn Group and the company's employees. This is the largest sum of donation that Sichuan has received from a Taiwanese company.

Chinese Scholar Writes Book To Clarify Foxconn's Corporate Position
