Shenyang-based A-Power Energy Generation Systems Ltd., a provider of distributed power generation systems and a manufacturer of wind turbines, has received an Approval Certificate of Foreign Investment from China's National Development and Reform Commission and Ministry of Commerce to complete the acquisition of Evetech Company of Kyoto, Japan.

The Shenyang-based manufacturer of distributed electricity generation equipment, A-Power Energy Generation Systems, has been chosen to supply wind turbines to a China-U.S. joint venture project which will develop a 600MW wind farm in Texas, USA.

Shenyang based A-Power Energy Generation Systems, has signed its second sales contract with China National Automation Control System Corporation for the sale of 50 2.7 MW wind turbines.
