Yingli Green Energy To Supply PV Modules To Germany

Baoding-based Yingli Green Energy Holding Company, a vertically integrated photovoltaic product manufacturer, has signed a sales agreement with Payom Solar AG, a leading PV rooftop system specialist based in Germany, to supply 51 MW of PV modules to Payom in 2010.

Jorg Truelsen, the chief executive officer of Payom Solar AG, commented that his company had had many good experiences during its years of partnership with Yingli Green Energy. He added that this 51 MW sales contract was the largest PV module purchase agreement in Payom Solar's history.

Yingli Green Energy designs, manufactures and sells PV modules and designs, assembles, sells and installs PV systems that are connected to an electricity transmission grid or operate on a stand-alone basis. Based in Baoding, Hebei, Yingli Green Energy sells its PV modules to system integrators and distributors located in various markets around the world, including Germany, Spain, Italy, South Korea, Belgium, France, China, and the USA.
