Shenzhen Hexinyu Technology Company has notified consumers and retailers that certain 18650 Li-ion battery chargers model HXY-0422000A have been identified as bearing a counterfeit UL Mark for the United States and Canada.

These Li-ion chargers have not been evaluated for safety by UL, and represent potential fire or shock hazards.

The units in question are Model HXY-0422000A Li-ion battery chargers manufactured by Shenzhen Hexinyu Technology Company in 2008. The product has a label with a counterfeit UL Mark for the United States and Canada.

Shenzhen Hexinyu Technology recommends that consumers stop using the product immediately and return it to the place of purchase.
