China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine has awarded inspection-free qualification for nine Lenovo exported PC products.

Export goods inspection-free qualification is the highest credit level granted to enterprises in recognition of high product quality. It empowers enterprises to apply for preferential pass-custom policies, creates a more lenient exporting environment for the products and offers other advantages. This is the first time that this qualification has been granted to a domestic Chinese computer company.

Lenovo began to undergo AQSIQ review in 2007 and passed a general inspection in March 2008. Nine models of Lenovo PCs made in four factories, located in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Huiyang, f qualified.

Getting inspection-free qualification will help accelerate Lenovo's expansion in the international market.
